COURSE DESCRIPTION

This Economics and Personal Finance course will help students learn to live the American Dream!  It is part Economics, taught from a natural law/free market/private property rights point of view, and will include real-world applications such as understanding global trade, government regulations, entrepreneurship, and creating a successful business.  We will blend those topics into the Personal Finance portion of the class which will include the Dave Ramsey approach to Financial Peace.  Because of the depth of this class, it will be taught in two semesters giving the student a full one-year social studies or elective credit.
